Sam and Gabriel's bonding was an accident, but Gabriel's been lonely for so long that he actually doesn't mind the comforting presence of another's thoughts in his head. Eventually leads to sex, Gabriel starting it but Sam taking over. Schmoopy, unhurried sex, with maybe bond-talking/telepathy.

Lucky for Gabriel, Sam's had some practice with disposing of irritating gods, and steals Gabriel back while doing some major damage to those who would hurt Gabe. Cue posessive but gentle sex, where Sam promises that he's not going to let anything else get ahold of Gabe - not even Lucifer.
