Gabriel is stunningly himself even in an AU setting and with amnesia. Becky is a delight to read about, starring as Sam's best friend. I want to avoid spoilers so let me just say: This story is awesome. (Also includes past-Sam/Jess, sort of pre-Dean/Castiel, and Gabriel/Ruby.)

Note: This story is part of the Sky trilogy universe, but all you really need to know is that Dean is Michael and he put Sam and Gabriel in charge of a rebel angel garrison that's run out of Ellen's rebuilt Roadhouse. Then Cas created three angel children out of nowhere and gave one of them to Lucifer as a sign of forgiveness.
